Profile

The department was constructed in 2014, relying on professional, technology and knowledge advantages of Tsinghua University and Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang. Based on the current situation of agricultural development, it focuses on ecological agriculture, phosphorus and nitrogen reduction, bio-pesticide, intelligent agricultural machinery, agricultural recycling economy and other technical fields for technological innovation and industrial incubation. Besides, it contributes to the national food security and agriculture sustainability.

Currently, our department has established circular agricultural economic technology group, crop formula fertilizer group, environment-friendly bio-pesticide group and intelligent agricultural machine group. And carried out technology and product development, promotion, and incubation in various fields.

The department will adhere to the concept of “Science, Innovation, Openness and Inclusiveness” and attract high-end professionals in modern agriculture. According to the needs of agricultural development, it is committed to develop new technology and products, accelerate the industrialization of technologies and products, support and promote the transformation and upgrading of agricultural technologies.
