Department of Environmental Technology and Ecology

Profile

Our department was constructed in 2006 by School of Environment, Tsinghua University and Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang. In 2010 it has become the membership unit of National Environment Protection & Technology Management and Engineering Technology Center for Assessment.

Relied on the technologies and professionals of Tsinghua University, our department has greatly promoted the search on the applied technology and the commercialization of research output in Zhejiang and Yangtze Delta Region; has established research and development database and demonstration projects; our department has enhanced the sustainable growth of local environmental industry as well as the local economy; our department has attracted scientific and technological professionals with environmental awareness, build a favorable enterprise platform and provide science and technology services at home and abroad.
