Analysis and Testing Center

Profile

The Analysis and Test Center, affiliated Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang, was established in 2014.It was composed of Environmental Monitoring Laboratory and Scientific Instrument Laboratory. Focusing on the environment, agricultural products / food, and other major issues, the center applies big data technology and takes analysis and testing as the starting point to develop "safety and health" innovative technology system. In key fields such as inspection and testing, risk analysis, risk management, proprietary testing instruments and process equipment, the center continuous R&D and innovation, strengthens the organic integration of technology innovation and industry and promotes scientific and technological achievements industrialization.

Since its founding, the center has fulfilled multiple roles— as The National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment Application Technology Cooperation Center, Scientific instruments industrial technological innovation strategic alliances of Yangtze River Delta, and Scientific Instruments Equipment Industrial Technological Innovation Service Platform of Zhejiang Province. The center integrates the technical resources of the government, enterprises, universities, and institutions, develops a batch of key technologies in the fields of environment - food - health, and provides effective scientific and technological services for national and regional development.

At present, the center has more than 50 members, including 1 postdoctoral, 9 doctorates and 11 masters, 6 of whom are qualified for senior professional titles. Since its establishment, the center has undertaken more than 100national/provincial/municipal level hi-tech research projects, invented more than 20 patents, and published more than 80 scientific research papers.
